Myspace Will Never Be Good Enough

Myspace Will Never Be Good Enough

 |  by Kevin English
Myspace pages should never double as your band’s website. There are too many low cost options available today for you to NOT take advantage of a fully customizable blog . Although Myspace pages are still neccesary to some degree, blog formatted website are key in keeping your fans updated with fresh content everytime they CHOOSE to visit.
I came across an excelent aleternative this week over at <a href=”http://www.bandwebsitetheme.com/”>bandwebsitetheme.com</a>. The theme operates off of the free, yet robust Word Press platform that allows you to have a new, fully customizable website up and running within minuetes. The built in widget ready sections, makes it easy to increase your band’s search engine recogniztion and maximizes your social interation on networks like Twitter, Last FM and Flicker. The theme also comes complete with the free plug in, GigPress that allows you to create, managae and publish your bands growing number of tour dates and events.
Generally artists who point their band’s url to Myspace, Band Camp, or Reverb Nation page do so for sheer ease of use, but these options leave much to be desired. In the center column is where you will get the most of this very affordable theme. The <a href=”http://www.bandwebsitetheme.com/”>band website</a> template has a blog design built in, and it displays your most recent blog posts on your home page. The best part about it is that there is no need for coding experince or expesinve programmers. YOU can now add pictures, video’s and mp3′s of your latest studio session, live show or misellanceos band tomfoollery.
When I started my blog, less than a year ago, I had no idea how to use Word Press. Within days I learned the same back end solution you will now be using on your bands website. For a limited time only I am offering you a discount of $15 off of the already low price. Enter the promo code: eleetmusic upon check out to recieve your discount today. Hurry becuse this promotion will only last until December 7th.
After the football games are over and the Turkey is all gone, download this template and get the profesional band website that you deserve. We’ll ALL be thankful for that.
Happy Thanksgiving to You and Yours!

  1. Thanks for the shout out Kev. It’s good to see that your blog is still growing and you’re doing something you enjoy. It might take some time, but stick with it and more folks will follow the blog with your interesting posts.

In regards to this posting, technology is always changing and there is always going to be something new. I do my best to stay up to date and I can say that I’m the king of Google Wave:-) HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

    • Thanks for the encouraging words Jabari. Your expertise with Google Wave is the best that I’ve ever seen. Sike. Lets get working on some API’s so I can embed a Wave here on my blog.
